Apply for a placeThe three days

Most of us learned to pray alone, quickly, between other things. This is three days of the opposite: the same practice, unhurried, in one room, with people doing it beside you. The teaching, the zikr meditations and the guided therapies — in person, in Bangalore.

Who it is for

Anyone who prays, or wants to — whatever you know already and however long it has been. You do not need to have done anything with us before.

What you leave with

A prayer that feels like something again, a practice you can keep at home, and a room full of people who were there.

The three days

The day-by-day shape is being set. It will appear here as soon as it is settled.

Where

In Bangalore. The full address and how to reach it come with your confirmation.

Prayer times

We pray each salah in Jamaat, together. The times at the venue come with your confirmation.

Ask for a place

The room is small, so we read every application ourselves and choose carefully. It takes about ten minutes, and there are no right answers — only honest ones.

Seats are limited because the room is.

You will hear from us either way. Nobody is left wondering.

Questions people ask
Do I have to be at a certain level?
No. People come having prayed for forty years and having just started again after a long time away. The three days are built to meet you where you are, and the application asks where that is so we can put the room together thoughtfully.
Why is there an application at all?
Because the room only holds so many, and three days together works better when the people in it are ready for it. Reading what you write is how we do that, rather than taking whoever clicks first.
Can I come for just one day?
The days build on each other, so we ask for all three. If something makes that impossible, say so in the application and we will tell you honestly whether it still makes sense.
Is it residential?
You can stay at the venue for the three days or come in each morning and go home at night. The application asks which, and the arrangements for men and women are separate either way.
What happens after I apply?
We read it by hand, which takes a few days rather than a few minutes. If you are offered a place, everything practical follows — where to be, when to arrive, what to bring.
Who sees what I write?
Ahmed, and the people running the three days. Nothing you write is shared, sold, or used to advertise to you.
